His home island of Vis is a wonderful stopping point after visiting the mainland and not many torists know about Vis. Of course Pino can arrange anything for you on the mainland, the islands or the sea. Dealing with him and his family is more like visiting with personal friends. Dear Petra The moment we entered your office in Hrvatskih muscenika on Thursday 13th September, soaked by the heavy rainfall, we saw on your face that you really felt sorry for us. The first thing you did: calling the owner of the apartment you had arranged for us and asked him to bring us by car to our destination. You didn't bother about the administrative obligations. "Go to your apartment. We see each other tomorrow", you said when we drove away. I was impressed: a perfect and very kind hostess who really cares about her clients! During our whole stay in Komiza you confirmed that my first impression was right. Thanks for all you have done for us and the personal contact with you. I am also grateful to Pino for bringing me all the way to Vis and the nice talks I had with him! Our stay on Vis was a dream holiday. Beautiful island, nice small and lively town with friendly population, perfect accomodation with a wonderful view on the Dalmatic sea and the island Biesevo, beautiful weather with lots of sunshine and a pleasant temperature, small fine beach in front or our apartment, clear water, nice restaurants and shops on the Riva and in the narrow streets with picturesque houses at the foot of the greencovered mountains. The heavy rain upon arrival had washed out all daily worries and stressful work. We got the feeling to have stepped into a world where you really can feel home, thanks to the pleasant atmosphere the population of Komiza is able to create. The last night of our stay we were treated by a spectacular 'firework' of lightnings and thunder above the sea. A dignified farewell! Upon arrival home - cold weather, dark grey clouds with regular rainfall - we suddenly realised the dream is over. But the beautiful memories stay and will never be forgotten.

Dear Wil Far later than I had hoped and planned I am writing to extend my greatest thanks to you for so kindly arraigning what turned out to be an absolutely magical visit to Vis. As you know, the weather played in our favour and it turned out (not that I didn't think it would) to be one of the highlights of the tour. Pino and his colleagues gave us an absolutely marvellous tour of the fort, where a splendid picnic lunch was provided, followed by a tour of the island, where there just happened to be a cricket match playing – the perfect treat for us Brits! The boat back to Hvar was perfect and really gave us the feeling of being Venetians on the Adriatic which, as you know, was the theme of the tour. I am most grateful to you Wil and please pass on my greatest thanks to Pino and his colleagues. My very best wishes Michael
