Representatives of AlterNatura have from the firm "MENIGA MARINE d.o.o." ; importer of the world famous ribs "TORNADO", taken over the real "monstrum" 10m long. Purpose of the boat is tourist transfers and sea rescuing as well. Because of special construction and powerful MerCruiser engine, boat can sail out in all weather conditions. It is equipped with plotter, radar and special sonar which very precisely is plotting the configuration of the sea bed. The boat will be exposed on the Nautic fair in Zagreb, in the February 2006, and also on the Split Nautic fair in the April 2006 where you can take a ride and try the boat. That's not the biggest rib under the croatian flag, as we have heard from the director of "MENIGA MARINE d.o.o." , these days firm is making a new contract for two " TORNADO" boats; 11,5 m. Allegedly every boat will be equipped with 2 Mercury outboard motors "VERADO 275". 550 HP on the rib!! Definitly the times when the "Maestral 9" with "Tomos 4 HP.." has called the rib are over.
